Verse 1 covers Psalm 4:1-3, verse 2 Psalm 4:4-5, and verse 3 Psalm 4:6-7

Hear me when I call, my Righteous God;
Have pity and hear my prayer!
God chose and gave to me, kind Jesus’ righteousness,
He hears when I call to Him.

Trust all God had promised, all He’s done.
Trust His perfect view of you!
Great-er than sacrifice, this trust is evidence,
Of Christ’s righteousness in you.

Your presence is light, shine o’er us Lord,
You give Jesus’ joy to me!
I fall asleep, so sound, the moment I lie down,
Secure in my Father’s peace!

A Song for Psalm 2

Can be sung to the tune of “Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise”
Verse 1 covers Ps 2:1-3 and verse 2 covers Ps 2:4-5

The nations, they gather in anger, and scheme:
“We want not God ruling, let’s break ourselves free!”
Almighty God laughing in heaven above;
In fury and wrath He will answer them all.

Our Yahweh is speaking, let’s hear what He’ll say;
“My Son I have set upon my holy place,
To Him, nations given, to heal or to break.”
Be wise now, bow down, lest His anger you face.

A Song for Psalm 1

Can be sung to the tune of “I Sing the Mighty Power of God”

So bless’d are we who follow not the lies,
And ways of e-vil men;

The teachings and the truths of Yahweh God,
We ponder them night and day.

Like a tree God planted, by the streams of Living Wa-ter,
This is who we are.

Our leaves won’t wither, fruit will come each sea-son,
God keeps us safe in Him.

Jeremiah 9:23-24

Hear what Yahweh says,
“The wise should not boast in their wisdom
Nor the mighty boast in their strength,
Nor the wealthy boast in their riches.
But let boasters boast only in this,
{to them it has been given} They know and trust me.
They know that I am Yahweh and I do what delights me in all the earth – I overflow my love, I bring justice, I execute righteousness.
I, Yahweh, have spoken.

Explanation for even the littlest ones:
Creator God wants to tell us something. He says that people should not think they are better than someone else because of what they own or what they have done.
One thing only makes us special or different than someone else and that one thing is a gift God Himself has given to us. The gift is that we get to know God. We get to know that our Creator God is Yahweh. We get to know and believe that He is our loving Father and Shepherd. We get to know that He is always doing his favorite things in the world around us.
And what are his favorite things to do? God loves to pours out His love and overflow it everywhere. He loves to take care of the sad and helpless. He loves to make beautiful good things where beautiful good things could never be.
This is what our Shepherd God says to us.
